On a usual dry wintery day with spiro.. inbetween her paper writing and my elusively busy schedule. We make it to the trailer.
Get some good eats. tacos/quesadillas/taquitos/tamales.
After delighting in good conversation and great company we return.
On our way we pass the iglesia ni cristo, A lovely spanish and philipino church,
...a yard sale of sorts in a vacant lot,
...a West African Market,
...a bus stop
and we are home.

Jonny and the Sox
Last night Jonny visited my dream...we were hanging out like old buds...typical: he had big diamond studs in his ears and he was teasing me with a great loud laugh. kyle was there too. The three of us were sitting on a grassy dune by the beach.
My good friend in High-school Jon Lester was the school stud, the jock of all trades. He started football, basketball, and baseball varsity since his freshman year. He stood tall and proud, and everyone loved him.
Props to Jon. Who ever would have thought that at 23 he would be able to say 'I won the world series.'? Senior year he was first pick of the second draft. We all waited the phonecall with him for the big news. The Boston Red Sox snatched this pitcher right up, and that next year he left for their training. A few years later his is pitching the final game of the world series. He pitched the first 5 2/3 innings with only three hits and no runs.
Im proud of this guy for many reasons, a) he was a decent chemistry partner b) a hard worker c)he has made in through a lot of trials with the support of is family, his friends, and God (you can google his story about battling lymphoma cancer in his back) d) he is funny..and only really lives in my memories... but I do have his first autograped baseball June 11th 2002.

The Spiro hospitality is unmatched. A generous and delicious meal with great fellowship. And a shot with the new wide-angle, j.spiro is really making a claim in the world of photog.
and...if you check out the right side of the table...we joined together last night with Spiro of course to celebrate our hallows eve.
